This month, India Accelerator put forth an incubation program so that early stage tech- startup can take profit through its newly owned memebership in Global Accelerator Network (GAN). GAN is a consortium which is comprised of 70 leading accelerators of the world including NXTP Labs in Argentina, H-Farm in Italy, Techstars in the US, and SparkLabs in South Korea.

The gurgaon based accelerator is the foremost Indian startup accelerator to be a part of GAN will also initiate an escalated four-month programme in Gurgaon to provide access to startups for UI and UX designers, inhouse growth hackers, tax consultants, and legal teams. Its first batch is going to start in July and intend to provide a funding amount of $15000-20000 to the selecetd startups.
This accelerator programme is aligned on second number of such development activities after the hook up of Blume Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund with Draper Venture Network which is a global group of global venture capital firms with the vision to serve funding and networking opportunites to the fund’s portfolio companies.
An Excellent opportunity for startups
Ashish Bhatia, the managing director of India accelerator, and cofounder of companies like OrganIQ, eGamersArena, and AppWorks, said about this programme that, “We had been in talks with GAN for the last few months to get into their fold. It will help us get access to global partnerships and best practices in accelerators and give an excellent opportunity to startups to connect with mentors, entrepreneurs and investors on a global level”. He additionaly said that, “The acceptance rate of startups for accelerators in GAN is too low at 2% from about 55,000 startups that apply within a year”.

He also said that India Aceelerator will allow only five startups in a batch in its acceleration programme and it will initiate only two batches in a year. It is domian sceptic and will provide service related to technology platform required by stratups in running their business in effective way.
