IIT-Hyderabad has introduced an acceleration program having planning to motivate the young entrepreneurs and social cloud startups. This three month long programme will run at IIT-Hyderabad working with Surge Impact Foundation.
This will help startups
This is a manoeuvre to help the startups and the emerging entrepreneurs so that they can work on the problems that annoy them while setting up their services and products effectively. It also intends to provide seed funding to the startup placed from Rs 50000 to 1 Lakh.
Seed funding networks started by IIT-HBD
It is not long ago when IIT-Hyderabad had also initiated a Seed funding network that enables sprouting startups to traverse across industry. It also made a statement about its perception that,
“The program will give entrepreneurs an overview of the important aspects of building and running a social enterprise. The start-ups will be guided through leadership, business management, peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and technology implementation for social good”.
Number of startups in country and their growth
Almost 19000 financial services startups and technology enabled startups which are led by consumer internet are presently established in India.
As per a survey of Tracxn, startup data aggregator, the ecommerce growth reached 21.4 % which is $17 billion in the mid of 2015-16. Indian startups can easily and effectively deal with the environmental challenges which they are facing in the country with the help of these startup boosting programs.
