Paytm, digital payment platform, has allowed traffic challan payment through its own platform.
How to pay challan through this platform
Users can simply complete the challan payment process in few steps: log on to the app then click on “Traffic Challan”, enter vehicle number and proceed for payment.

Kiran Vasireddy, Senior Vice President at Paytm, said that, “Traffic challan payments in India largely happen at select counters and in cash. We are glad to partner with the state traffic police departments to enable challan payments on the go”.
How the invoice process will work
Paytm revealed that, the service will issue a digital invoice and the surrendered documents of the customers will be dispatched through postal service and all this will be preceded under respective police department.
Vasireddy said that, “This is a new stride in our vision to add convenience to every payment use-case in the country”.
It is yet to be initiated in more cities
This service is now live in Pune, Mumbai, and Vijaywada only and company is intended to expand it to other cities soon.
