Reliance Jio on Thursday commercially launched its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) service “JioFiber” across 1,600 cities in India where the users will experience broadband, voice-video calling, on-demand entertainment, and unlimited data, among others. Jiofiber welcome offer offers the customers a TV, 4K Set Top Box, OTT App Subscription and unlimited data. Each user will get a set-top box (even with a monthly plan) and for those who opt for a Gold plan and above will get a TV set.

All About Jio Plans and Speed

The consumers will get ultra-high-speed broadband (up to 1 Gbps), free domestic voice calls, TV video calling and conferencing, entertainment apps, gaming, home networking, security, and VR experience. JioFiber plans start at a cost of Rs 699 a month and go up to Rs 8,499. Jio managed the plans at less than one-10th the global rates — to make it available for all. Currently, the moderate broadband speed in India is 25Mbps, and in the US, it is around 90Mbps.
