Pinterest has expanded its partnership with Shopify to 27 more countries. This new expansion will lead to 1.7 million new merchants who can bring their products from e-commerce to shoppable pins.
Earlier, Shopify and Pinterest’s collaboration was limited to the US and Canada only. The Pinterest app allows Shopify store owners to manage their product catalogs and make their products into shoppable pins.

Upgradation To Shopify’s Pinterest App
Shopify gives a free app to the website owners to upload their product catalogs on the Pinterest app. This allows them to have a shoppable product pin.
According to Pinterest, it will take 48 hours to sync your first product catalogs. However, after the first time, the app itself updates the catalogs every day. The only disadvantage that it was present in North America only.

Multi-Feed Option For Catalogs
From today onwards, Shopify merchants will be able to upload multiple feeds. Restricted to one product feed, now merchants can upload up to 20 product feeds.
Merchants will be able to add some local data as well on their product feeds. Local data includes currency, language, and product availability.
This allows merchants to upload different feeds for different market areas.
