There are times when you might regret sending a message and want to take that back. With the feature under testing previously, WhatsApp is now bringing this to the users that will help in removing such messages.

About the feature

This new feature is very easy to use. The user needs to tap on the message and the “Delete” option to permanently remove the message. Multiple messages could be selected at a time as well and in place of this “This message was deleted” will be displayed.

The limitations

• With the introduction of such a feature, there are some constraints to it. The messages could be deleted within seven minutes of being sent or else they get permanent like other messages.
• Another issue that stands is that this feature will only work if both the users are using latest versions.
• It is not available for all the features until recently.
