Twitter is moving towards helping users from hacking their accounts. The company will send a push notification to a user if a login is attempted from a new account.
The alerts will help users to confirm that it is them, if not then the user could take necessary actions against it. The addition appears to be good in terms of account security but it could be problematic for those who use the platform in the incognito mode.
Turning Off Notifications:
User can simply off this notification through a new toggle that has been added in the Twitter’s push notification settings or simply through the app permissions.
