Campaign Strategy:

Oyo Rooms was on a lookout for effective server and website management, to attract organic leads and convert them into potential customers.

Campaign Execution:

1. Landing Page

Using Google Search and Display Ads, we generated traffic for Oyo Rooms and brought it to the Landing Pages which were developed by our team for the brand. Further, the leads were assigned to the right salesperson filtered on the basis of geography and requirement.

Once a person signed up on Oyo Rooms, they were notified through SMS and Email notification enabled by linking the Landing Page to the ERP Software.

Let’s say, you wanted a property in Himachal and registered through the Landing Page. The ERP Software would assign it to a salesperson in Himachal while keeping the user in loop of the process through SMS & Email notifications.

This resulted in more leads by increasing the page’s efficiency and enhancing user journey for the customer, as the user did not have to scroll through multiple pages and can find solutions on one link itself.

2. Skyscraper Technique

Applying the Skyscraper Technique at the Top Of the Funnel (TOFU), everything that relates to Hospitality and Travel Industry were put up on the websites in an effective and planned manner, which aimed at redirecting engaged readers to further explore offers by Oyo Rooms.
The Skyscraper Technique is a link-building strategy that presupposes improving the existing popular content and replicating the backlinks to increase traffic. We started to build content with 1 primary and 2 secondary keywords initially, putting in tough keywords with effective back linking.

3. Effective Keyword Strategy

A set of long-tail keywords classified into various lists and segments was curated, keeping in check their ranking and performance.
We identified the main keywords and divided keywords by ranking them into different buckets.

  • 1st Bucket - Keywords in top 10
  • 2nd Bucket - Keywords in top 20
  • 3rd Bucket - Keywords in top 30

5. Hotel Booking & Lead Generation

Once the right salesperson was assigned leads, they would assist the user with available choices as per their requirements and convert them into a customer. This began generating demands for Oyo Rooms and increased bookings for Oyo Hotels.

Further, Oyo Rooms forayed into Banquet Halls booking through their website. To ensure demand for the same, effective SEO was put in place which gathered high organic traffic and eventually turned it into potential leads for the business.

Generated leads were effectively distributed and assigned to the right salesperson to take it further.

6. Spam Filtration

Effective blockers were deployed to ensure filtration of spam leads using advanced AI technology, which resulted in improving the overall efficiency of the provided services. It provided more time and energy to the sales department by ensuring that they deal with interested leads and are not stuck-up in manual spam filtration.

7. Server Maintenance

We routed client requests across all servers capable of fulfilling those requests in a manner that maximized speed and efficiency and ensured that no single server is overworked, preventing performance degradation.
