Government is to launch GST from 1st July and ahead of its rollout , ClearTax has joined hands with e-commerce fashion retailer Voonik to assist the sellers on the platform for automated tax filling services.
Two plans for online sellers
Archit Gupta, CEO at Clear Tax, said that, “We are offering two plans that will cater to online sellers. These are largely automated and once a seller opts for the service, his taxes will be taken care of”.
What will be the annual cost
Annual cost of these services will be almost Rs 5000. Moreover, ClearTax will help its customers in saving taxes along with providing insights.
ClearTax and Amazon
Earlier, ClearTax got associated with Amazon and helped its sellers (only one-third of the sellers are GST complaints) with filing of tax return.
GST for small time sellers
As per Gupta, GST may be worrisome for small time sellers at beginning with the features such as input tax, credit tax, etc, and would add some complexities for online business as well.
No charges till September
He also said that, “Notably, ClearTax’s services will be offered to SMBs and tups for GST compliance without any charges till September this year. Different models will keep staremerging over the coming months”.
ClearTax and NoBrokers
ClearTax has also associated with NoBrokers, Bengaluru-based property listing site.
Subscription based service
NoBroker is charging up to 18% for its subscription based services. Cofounder of NoBroker, Akhil Gupta said that, “ClearTax will help us in automating the filing of returns, removing the hassle”.
ClearTax serving to traditional players
ClearTax is also serving to FMCGs, logistics and manufacturing like traditional business other than SMBs.
