Myntra, online fashion store, will offer cashback to the shoppers who will choose for late delivery option while ordering amidst of upcoming “End of Reason Sale”.

2-5 days of late delivery will direct cashback

Ambarish Kenghe, chief officer at Myntra, said that, “If you can take delayed delivery of 2-5 days, we will give you certain amount back. This is good for us since it will reduce delivery costs by taking a little bit more time to deliver it to customers. It will also simplify our supply chain and we will not have to deploy that much workforce”.

Company has run a trial for this

Myntra will start its “End of Reason Sale” from 24th june to 26th. Kenghe said that they did a successful test run for the feature in the employees of Myntra and Flipkart where a good number of them opted for delayed delivery. The refrained from sharing further information about the trial or about the likely cashback that the users will be getting.

It has added 800 kirana stores

Previously, it had told that it has added 800 kirana stores to fortify its distribution network during the sale.

Ananth Narayanan, CEO of Myntra, said that, “We have been running the pilot for three months and have trained staff so customers get the same delivery experience”.

Company working for AMP Bind

The company is also keenly looking to enhance the mobile web experience for the customers. Kenghe said that they are working on “AMP Bind” which is a Google’s accelerated mobile page project and it will enable the etailers to build interactive pages with elements like color, product filters, size selectors, etc.
