Paytm has recently promoted its former senior vice-president Kiran Vasireddy to the position of chief operating officer. He will be reporting to CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma.

About Vasireddy

Vasireddy, joined Paytm in 2012, will now be in charge of business operations including QR code-based offline payments network, the Paytm wallet business and some new initiatives to launch financial products such as insurance and loans which will help the payments bank monetise its customer base.

Kiran’s undertaken work

Paytm informed that “Kiran will oversee all functions and verticals within the payments business. His core responsibility will be growth and expansion of payments business. He will ensure that we are present across every payment use case in the country and will launch newer payments methods to drive further adoption of Paytm”
