Online shopping app Paytm Mall bought by Paytm is betting big on its online-to-offline (O2O) model which will allow its customers to get the online discounts in an offline store as well.
Retailers see Growth in Sales
A shoe retailer in Delhi partnered with Paytm Mall and experienced a 50-60% customer conversion rate during the recent festive sales. It isn’t about offering through the online stage but in addition is about utilizing the disconnected model of Paytm Mall’s QR codes in the stores. Another retailer, which sells Laptops in Maharashtra, has seen 20-25% development in deals since its association with Paytm Mall.
QR Codes Supporting Partner Retailers
“The company’s QR Codes have also supported the partner retailers in managing the ongoing festive rush by driving seamless discovery and payments for customers at their offline stores,” said Amit Sinha, chief operating officer at Paytm Mall.
The two retailers were among 75 other shopkeepers that clocked more than 1 crore in the recent round of festive sales during Dusshera by joining hands with Paytm Mall.
