At University of Cambridge, researchers have developed a game app called “Game Show” that could help to improve the memory power of a person who is struggling with dementia and remains at first stage of the disease.
Tested on aMCI patients
They have tested the game’s effect on patients with aMCI that is amnestic mild cognitive impairment.
How it will help in increasing episodic memory
The results displayed that patient who played the game performed better in episodic memory. Episodic memory is very helpful in day-to-day work and helps us to remember small things like where we left our keys or where we parked our vehicle.
