As the concerns around coronavirus still continue to persist, advertising giants Facebook and Google begin to forbid ads for face masks. Google enforced a policy which block ads that capitalize on the coronavirus.

Google as of now restricting ads for face masks and will continue to take action as required. Google might restrict other types of ads in the future depending on how the situation mounts. It will take a few days to remove existing ads for medical face masks as Google says users might still come across some ads in the searches.
Google made the decision to ban ads for medical face masks soon after Facebook did the same. Facebook declared it is banning ads and commercial listings for medical face masks on Friday.
