After November 2019 Local Search Update, Google is trying to apply neural matching to local search results. Neural matching helps Google in understanding the queries in a better way and results in the production of relevant local businesses.
- Now many businesses will show up in the list according to the queries earlier which were not available.
- Google has not confirmed yet about up to what extent local search results are impacted. But the update is rolled out globally and in all languages.
