Google is coming up with a new feature for G Suite users to check their word count as they type over google docs for their ease. Sometimes users need to see the word count in doc, which consumes a lot of time by clicking over Tools> Wordcount. Now you can easily do this just by going over tools> Word count> Display Word Count while Typing in the lower-left corner of doc.

What’s More?

You can check more information by clicking on word count box, like the page count, character count. You just need to simply highlight the particular section of the text in order to check the word count of that text. One can turn this off as well by applying the same steps, i.e, Tools> Word Count> Display word count while typing by ticking it.

When it is Fully Available?

Google said- once it is rolled out it will automatically be available for all the users. The word count box has already rolled out for G suite editions. This will be available next month with a full rollout.
