Indian origin online transportation network company Ola, in which earlier Tencent has invested a total sum of $400-million, has hired Anand Shah, an advisor to a lobby firm to drive its electric vehicle programme that has been struggling to take off in the country. Anand Shah was a senior vice president focused on India and South Asia market for Albright Stonebridge Group.

Worked as the head of the skunkworks of BMW

Anand Shah previously worked as the head of the skunkworks of BMW that identified opportunities on future of mobility, parts of it the BMW has implemented in its business. He ran the programme that interviewed over 2000 people across the globe to look at emerging trends that could potentially disrupt the automobile business.

Worked as the founder of Sarvajal  

Anand Shah was earlier involved with the social innovation platform at Audi. He worked in Gujarat as a founder of Sarvajal; a Piramal Foundation funded initiative to set up water ATMs to provide affordable access to clean water in the state.
