Accessibility
Google launches this feature broadly to Android devices and iPhone. Earlier Interpreter mode was available for 26 languages on Google Home and Smart devices but in phones, it is available for 44 languages.
Using Interpreter Mode
The user needs to say “Hey Google, Help me translate (foreign language)”. After this Google will translate in real-time. Google further added that the Assistant may give smart replies to the user that helps to give quick reactions without speaking.
Interpreter Mode is present in Android by default for iPhone users they need to update or download the Google Assistant App. Otherwise, it will redirect user to Google Translator.
