Google has launched a new tool for publishers to manage content in Google News and other Google products. Publisher center of Google has merged its existing tools Google News Producer and Google News Publisher Center. Google further added by merging features of these tools will improve the user’s experience and operation.

Publisher center is an interface that enables publishers in managing, submission and monetizing their content in Google News. The new publisher center is currently available in English, Spanish, French and German language. But Google is planning to extend this tool to more languages very soon.
Feature Of New Publisher Center
- The new publisher center comprises of new features which were not present in the existing tools. With a new publisher center, publishers are able to add different logos depending on whether the phone is set to light or dark mode.
- Publishers who are managing multiple publications can easily manage and switch between them. It adds better permission settings that enable publishers to collaborate with their colleagues.

Publishers no longer have to depend on RSS to configure sections in Google News they can now point directly to URL. In other words, content for Google News can come directly from the relevant web pages which is exactly the same as Google indexes content for search results.
