Google’s John Mueller was asked by a user if one should disown unrelated or random links pointing to his website. The query was ” If a domain has a lot of irrelevant links that are unrelated to the service that the website offers, would you recommend to disavow or contact the website owners to get them pulled.” To which John said just because the links are random or unrelated it does not necessarily mean the links are bad.

John states on Twitter “Random doesn’t mean they are bad”
