ShopClues, an Ecommerce platform is about to launch an exclusive home décor and furnishing label named Home Berry targeting the customers from tier-III or IV cities specifically.

 

Popular Labels in existence  

ShopClues following a similar strategy as acquired by­­ Flipkart and Amazon who have launched multiple private labels including SmartBuy and Solimo over the last year.

 

Statement by Nitin Kocchar

“Currently, we have 80 to 100 products launched under the brand. We will be ramping up the exclusive labels over the next 3 to 6 months in unstructured categories catering to the price point for Bharat which is our largest customer base. The sellers hold the inventory and are manufacturers themselves. We have reached out to them based on their customer experience, product quality, return rates and other factors,” said Kochhar. He also added that “By the end of the quarter we expect our exclusive label to account for 20% of the total sales in the category,”
