According to the Wall street journal, France’s antitrust regulator fined Google with $166 million arbitrarily suspending ads.  The questions were deceptive for websites says Google.

France’s Antitrust Regulator

The regulator claims that Google is practicing the power of life or death over companies. The authority characterized this as brutal, unjustified, random, and unpredictable. The authority wants google to give some warning alarm to the advertisers and apart from that asked Google to clarify its ad suspension rules.

Google Statement

Google says it was protecting the consumer as the websites are asking for money for the services. Moreover, Google says that the questions in ads were explosive and abusive. If this comes as true then the French government comes in big trouble.
