TikTok has introduced a new automated response option for messages to business accounts, which could help users to easily manage common queries and provide relevant details.

As you can see in the tweet above by Matt Navarra now you can go to the ‘Message settings’ in your Business Suite tools to make either an auto-reply message or a welcome message for when users DM your business on the basis of the keywords you choose. The process allows you to type in relevant keywords in a message that will trigger your automated response. It can help maintain connections and give immediate response if used well. On the other hand, it can also be misused so that TikTok has also mentioned a process that will require all the automated response messages to be reviewed by the TikTok moderation team before it goes live.


It could be very handy if you could identify the keywords for the most common queries while a welcome message could also help users feel like that your business is responsive and active.  The new settings are being rolled out to business accounts now.
