Recommendation – YouTube Introduces New RPM Metric To Help Creators Better Track Monetization Performance
Abhinav Singh, Program Manager at YouTube Said:
“We heard from a lot of you in the feedback that it currently looks too small, so we added a ‘See More’ button that will enable you to look at your video’s real-time views in full-screen.”
Youtube added ‘Revenue Per Mille’ metric previously, which helps creators to know their earning and added many new analytics and data tools in the previous few months. Tools are added to make it easy for creators to get the maximum benefits by an increase in content and their transparency on the platform.
Singh Noted:
“We’ve improved our analysis to detect reasons why your video could be over or underperforming, such as changes in search or external traffic.”

YouTube is also adding new kind of Basic Story Analytics on the home screen in the mobile app. It will show the views on the story and subscriber gained from it. The analytics will show the data of the story posted in last 14 days.
