Nowadays it is very common to see text based featured results for “how to” queries than video results. It was not the same a couple of years ago. There are still ways by which you can get video results for how to related queries.
Ryan Rodden in a post on Twitter and his blog shared that Google is carrying out trials for “suggested clip” feature which would show you video results. The best feature about this is that when you play the video, it would directly move to the part which has your answer. In this way you can skip all the introductory parts of the video and directly move to your answer without wasting any time.
For instance you want to see “how to tie shoe lace” then the navigating link will directly show you the related video while skipping all irrelevant part.
