Facebook recently announced that users now can publish service changes and hour updates on Facebook pages. Businesses can mark their status as temporary closed or communicate other changes in response to COVID-19 outbreak like online classes, takeout or delivery. Businesses can also pin their posts on the top of the timeline so as to communicate the message to the people.

Facebook states that to make the changes users have to go to the Page Settings > Page Info > Temporary Service Changes. Businesses can mark the status as temporarily closed or choose from other “Open with service changes” options.
