Electronic e-commerce start-up Flipkart and its arch rival Amazon are planning their festive sales on the same date. Amazon plans to go ahead with dates of Great Indian Sales on the same day as Flipkart’s Big Billion Days (BBD), starting from September 20-24.
Flipkart will provide first access to its customers
Flipkart will provide its customers 12-hour early access to its deals to the prime customers from September 20, 12 noon. Paytm Mall is also planning to begin its sales on the same dates.
What the sale will offer
The sale will have offers on a scope of items from cell phones, tablets, portable PCs, PCs, ventilation systems, clothes washers, iceboxes, attire, mold extras, individual care, among others.
“This year the focus is more on fashion, health and beauty as margins are much higher on such products compare to smartphones,” said a co-founder of startup.
