Flipkart, who is going to organise a sale event ‘Big Billion Days’ for its customers, is now introducing a ‘Budding Star Programme’ for its staff.

 

About the programme

Under the programme, Flipkart will provide financial assistance to its employees who wishes to participate in national or international events pertaining to their field of interest. The employees who have completed six months with the company are eligible to apply for the programme.

 

The programme activity

The employees will be evaluated by an internal panel and will be shortlisted accordingly. The shortlisted employee will be provide an assistance of 3 lakh. Satheesh KV, director total rewards at Flipkart said “We want benefits to be meaningful to employees, and this programme will allow Flipsters to pursue their passion beyond work. It adds to our existing sabbatical policy”. He also added “If we need to delight our customers, we need to delight our employees as well.

 

The programme list

All the international and national sports and non-sports competitions which are government recognised activity will be funded.

No regional or state-level competitions or tourist activities will be funded.
