A few weeks ago it was reported that Google has paused doing any site reviews for AdSense publishers because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Google took that into consideration and has announced two new changes to AdSense which are changes to AdSense experiments and global settings for ads.

AdSense Now Approving New Websites:

Sunny Ujjawal posted an update which he got from Google on Twitter that says ” Your website is now ready to show AdSense ads.” That means Google is now approving and reviewing new AdSense publishers. Here is a Screenshot:

Other New Changes To AdSense:

  • Google added a new “Global settings” tab in the Ads page in AdSense which is a new space for your account level ad settings. Google has moved its ad size optimization settings here.
  • Google has made changes and overall refreshed the interface of experiments to make make it easier for monitoring and acting on existed experiments. Google has also shifted the automatic experiments option to the Experiments page and named it to Auto Optimize.

Update: Some publishers say otherwise as their sites are still not being approved due to COVID-19.
