Google might have a double thought on the inter-relationship between Google Analytics and YouTube channel pages. From February 1, 2021, Google Analytics will not show new data from YouTube Channel Pages.
The data before February 1, 2021, will remain in Google Analytics and users can use it but cannot have new figures.
Last year in November, Google has removed the option to link Google Analytics with YouTube. But YouTube channels that were linked earlier were getting new data. But from this month beginning new data will be collected for existing connections as well.
With this change, YouTube creators don’t really care as YouTube Studio itself provides complete figures of their YouTube channel. The only advantage creators had was they can view their YouTube data as well along with other data.
But from now onwards, YouTube Analytics is the best and only source left with YouTube creators for figures. Now, some digital marketers have to learn this new tool as well to serve better.
