Google chrome has developed software that will help in blocking ads that run in between the videos. Ads that play before the videos are also being blocked by the software.
The Coalition better ads standard has been upgraded today in order to set new standards for ads that run in between the videos.

Ads That Are Disruptive
Based on a survey taken from 45000 consumers these 3 kinds of ads are more disruptive:

Pre-Roll Ads:
These are long, unskippable ads or a group of ads that run before a video. The length of these ads is less than 31 seconds.

Middle-Roll Ads:
These are those ads that come in the middle of the video. There is no specific duration od these ads.

Text or Image Ads:
Any ad that appears on the top of the video content or even covers 20% part of it.
Note: New standards are only applicable to those video content whose length is less than 8 minutes. In other words, a video whose length is more than 8 minutes can get rid away with pre-roll and mid-roll ads.
