John Mueller explained that having a private whois does not possess any effect on Google ranking. It does not change the way of trusting a site by Google.
John Mueller was questioned about the Whois information affecting website Trust and Authority.
it doesn’t change anything.
making a domain registration private doesn’t make the domain a part of a link network.
From SEO pov, Does keeping WHOIS information public help in website Trust and Authority? (Google itself is a registrar and can access the domain information of any website)

So Google doesn't use information from things like WHOIS to root out link networks and those sort of things?
