Google has published a PSA referring website owners that it is going through indexing issues that might create stale search results currently.

We're currently experiencing indexing issues that may cause stale search results in some cases. We'll update this thread when we can provide more information.

The extent and the issue exactly are not known right now. Google had indexing issues in the past which almost always involves either one of the two things. Either the new content has not indexed or previously indexed content jump off Google’s index. Probably the issue involves new content not indexed which made Google warning people about stale search results.

However, the issue does not look like this time. So as to check it perform a site search for your domain by clicking on Tools and then select the filter to a past hour or past 24 hours.

It has been observed that the recent content is being indexed well. We don’t know for sure until Google gives more information.
