Google is launching messaging option within the Google My Business desktop interface. Earlier users were only able to message via Google My Business mobile. This is not completely live yet, but some users can see it already.
Recommendation:
You may see a “Messages” icon on the left side navigation. when you login into Google My Business on the desktop.

Conclusion
Google has been introducing messaging recently within Google Maps and Google My Business. Many businesses have the computers open up and are ready to use. It is quite easier to type on a full-size keyboard when replying to the requests of the customers. So this new feature will make it easier for businesses to respond to customers.
