Instagram is adding a new “Shop” section in the explore that will display a range of items that the users can buy within one single feed.
“Instagram Shop is an in-app shopping destination where people can discover products and brands they love from across Instagram. Today, we have started public testing of Instagram Shop in the US and will expand globally in the coming weeks.”
The shop listings will showcase the personalized recommendation of the products for each user on the basis of the accounts they follow. Facebook announced that Instagram’s shop option back in May which will, therefore, see a huge increase in the buyable item listings in the app. This will really worth it for retailers to consider Instagram shop options.
