Instagram has introduced a new ‘Stay Home’ sticker for Instagram stories to persuade people to stay at home during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Not just this Instagram has also launched a new group story that collects together story frames in which users have made use of the Stay Home sticker.

All stories of people you follow that include that sticker in their story, are now curated into a “Stay at Home” story in your stories feed.#StayAtHome

It is an important message which some people are not taking seriously. Death tolls by COVID-19 are increasing day by day and still, most of the people are going out gathering together. Even if someone is not showing any symptoms there is a possibility that they might be carrying it. As the cases are going up increasingly the hospitals and medical clinics are running out of the capacity to provide required care to those who are susceptible.

As the situation continues to persist, it is very supportive to see Instagram trying to convey the key message to stay at home and reduce the spread of the virus. Instagram has launched several of cause-related stickers in the past. In October when it introduced Restrict mode, Instagram rolled out ‘Create don’t hate’ sticker to prevent cyberbullying. Just as this last week, It also added a sticker to thank all the health care workers during the COVID-19 outbreak. New ‘Stay Home’ sticker is available now on Instagram.
