Instagram released a new “Guides” feature for profiles, which will allow business users and selected creators to showcase recommendations, some tips, and content in a new separate tab.
Selected partner profiles will be displayed in a new tab with Posts, Mentions, and IGTV listings. The guide tab will showcase posts in a topic tile style.

It is interesting to use option as it provides high profile users to share their content with some additional context. Initially, it is focused on tips and wellbeing content, who knows it might become another platform to display your products in the coming time.

Brands could also highlight their collections based on topics or can offer how-to guides. There are several ways guides can be used in this aspect. As of now, Instagram has selected partners to have access to this tool. It has a lot of potential for the future as it is similar to your story highlights but with more contextual content.
Instagram states that you will also be able to use Guides within the Explore tab in the coming days. It will be a significant element to display dedicated explainers direct from explore. It does make sense that Instagram initially focusing more on health and wellbeing content.
