With online retailers like Flipkart and Amazon planning to give discounts to its customers heavy as upto 90%, Paytm mall is luring customers by giving products partially free this festive season.

“If you are going for 90%, then why not 100%? It is certainly better messaging. We are going to offer 100% cash back on select products during the upcoming sale. The point is, there will always be a bunch of products which are going to be attention grabbers; products on which you can give back as much as 100%” said Paytm Mall, COO, Amit Sinha

 

Paytm Mall plans to launch sale on same period

Paytm Mall plans to launch sale on same period as Flipkart and Amazon are launching. Flipkart is hosting its Big Billion Days from September 20-24 while Amazon is also planning to launch its Great Indian Sale on same dates.

Paytm Mall will give name of its own event, and has set aside an impressive budget of Rs 1000 crore to be spent on the event.

 

Paytm Mall targets Fashion, Mobile and electrical items

E-commerce companies have traditionally focused on classifications like Fashion, mobiles, apparatuses, electrical for pushing up the business numbers and Paytm Mall is additionally intending to pursue similar classifications. “We are not planning to do product launches like other platforms. We are working closely with brands to come out with a joint sale plan for Diwali for both online and offline” Said Sinha.

Apart from this Paytm Mall is also planning to launch sale events around regional festivals to promote monthly sale aggressively.
