Now every social media platform has a live streaming option, therefore this comes as no surprise that Pinterest is also looking to have a live stream option for their users. This feature will increase engagement in the app.
Techcrunch reported that Pinterest is going to host a three-day virtual event for the creators. During this virtual event, there will be a couple of live-stream sessions from creators and celebrities end. These live streams will be available on the Pinterest app.

Pinners can comment on the live streams in order to interact with the creators. Although, there will be no shopping feature in the first phase of the test. But not worry, soon Pinterest will come with this feature as well. Through this, advertisers can promote products in a new way.
