You Tube has announced its new update that involves messaging videos to friends or family while chatting without leaving the app.

The Previous Feature

Users used to send videos to another person by copying and pasting the link into some other platform. But, now after the new update of You Tube with its in-app chat facility, can now send videos in the conversation with emoji as well.

How to Start the Conversation

The user needs to invite other users through SMS or by sending invitation link through some social network, email or messaging.

Similar Features

This is similar to Instagram’s direct message feature and also similar to Google Messenger that allows you to communicate through SMS or MMS or send group messages.

The Objective of the Feature

The objective is rather clear- to keep the users involved on a single app rather than switching from one app to another. Unlimited amount of sharing could be done with this.
