Deep Dive Data Comparisons
The Deep Dive section is used by the creators to compare changes in the performance over time. Earlier creators were only able to compare the performance of one metric at once but now creators can compare numerous metrics side by side at a time. This is useful in analyzing the relationship between metrics and scrutinizing how one metrics affects another.
A highly recommended comparison is ‘views versus comments’ which lets you analyze if videos are getting more or fewer comments as compared to the other videos having the same number of views. Another comparison known as ‘views versus revenue’ is also useful for creators with monetization abilities. Options are available for comparing multiple combinations of metrics Youtube tracks.
Types Of Data Comparisons
- Period over Period: This comparison lets you compare year versus year performance or month versus month performance.
- Audience: Geographic comparison which lets you know where is your traffic coming from month to month.
- Top videos: Lets you compare overall top videos from one month over another.
