YouTube recently associated with Merchbar to assist artists in order to sell their merchandise on their video pages. Merchbar currently owns 10,00,000 items from 35,000 artists. According to YouTube, it will become a more valuable platform for artists.

YouTube is trying to become a stronger platform for the artist’s fans as now they can purchase official merchandise as well from the same platform and can watch the latest music videos.

Limitation of The Feature:

If a user clicks on the buy icon then it will redirect you to the Merchbar shopping page.

The eligible artists having an official artist channel and Merchbar store can adopt this feature in Youtube Studio. This feature is currently rolling in the US but in the near future years, ti will expand globally.
