Instagram is introducing another feature for the stories only. This time users can upload more than one photo in their single story. The new layout of the stories enables users to upload from 2 to 6 photos. Till now, only a single photo or video is allowed in a single story.

Users can add any story filter or emoji or anything on the image before uploading it. Effects could be text, Gifs, sound, etc.

Before this feature, the users need to use the third party app in order to upload multiple photos in a story. The users downloaded the template and then upload a story on the platform but with this new feature, all this work can be done on the Instagram app only.

Regular Upgradation On Story

It is interesting to see that the report from January 2019 regarding Instagram stories views per day was 500 million which is still kept on increasing. Hence a result, Instagram is more focused on bringing new features to the story rather than feed posts. For a long time, Instagram hasn’t updated its feed post layout.
