There has been the latest announcement by LinkedIn regarding their update in Rapportive e-mail insights tool that is being used several users to get LinkedIn –based direct Insight within their inbox. But, the update came in a different way when they replaced Rapportive with ‘Sales Navigator Lite’ for Gmail.

What does this new feature provide?

Though it works similar to the original Rapportive tool that used to give a listing of LinkedIn’s Insights when hovered over email-address. But, this new update provides another feature called ‘icebreakers’ which highlights the particular elements prompting the user to start a conversation. The user can connect directly to LinkedIn without leaving the inbox.
