Indian e-commerce and e-payment brand Paytm has planned to join the ranks of India’s growing accelerators and incubators through its incubator programme to enable building and sharing of solutions.
To Build Open-source-based Solutions
The programme ‘Build for India’ will see Paytm bring together students and professionals, who can build open-source-based solutions and share those projects with the global developer community.
This programme will focus on designing solutions around education, digital lifestyle, financial inclusion and also new-age technologies, including machine learning, augmented reality and virtual reality.
In Talks with Student Bodies and Faculties
Paytm is in converses with student bodies and faculty across the IITs, NSIT (Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology), Delhi Technological University, Amity University and BIT Mesra among others and is looking to kickstart the program with around 20 establishments, which will be additionally broadened going ahead.
To Give Back to Developer Community
“The objective is to give back to the developer community and not to sell these solutions. The virtual incubator will help any developer working in our focus areas to design world-class solutions” said senior VP Deepak Abbot.
