After Microsoft-LinkedIn integration, LinkedIn’s database is now brimming with more than 500 million users with all their professional data. Even Facebook is trying out Job listings on its Page.
The latest development
LinkedIn very recently declared a new feature called ‘Talent Insights’ which is described as “…a self-service, big data analytics product that will let recruiters make deeper queries into statistics for hiring and employment, based on LinkedIn data.”
The two components of ‘Talent Insights’
- In this, the recruiters will draw more data for the vacancies they are looking for like looking for a particular job title and as such. Talent Insights will give more info on the required position. It will include the live people who are fitting the description, the names of colleges or institutes that are teaching for the particular position. This will provide a fine search result for the recruiters.
- What the second element does that it focuses on trending skill requirements, role breakdowns, charts & stats etc.
Benefits in every way
LinkedIn’s new recruitment system will help the employers by offering them myriad of options based on the statistical data. This is also a kind of improvement to their ‘Recruiter Tool’ that was launched back in 2015.
