Facebook has recently announced the merging of its Ads Manager functionalities and Power Editor into a single tool that will be called Ads Manager.
Facebook’s statement
“Starting later this week, advertisers will begin to see an updated Ads Manager interface where they previously found Ads Manager or Power Editor. The updated Ads Manager interface is designed to feel familiar without sacrificing any capabilities advertisers enjoyed from the old Power Editor or Ads Manager.”
Benefits in the merger
This is will give the user a privilege to choose their preferred work style- Power Editor’s quick creation or Ads Manager’s guided tools on an updated interface.

After introducing a fresh ad format, this integrated power of the two features would help advertisers in understanding the ad targeting options available in Facebook and imparts them a better understanding.
