In its latest update, Facebook will now be able to produce emojis and avatars that will resemble the user. From the combined efforts of researchers from Facebook and Tel Aviv University, who previously brought the concept of animated profile pictures, are now developing a program that will use photos to conjure custom avatars instantly.

How does this feature work?

In this feature, the photo or image is identified with another image used along with some tools that will mimic the look to create the avatar. The created avatar will be compared with an already created avatar making similar changes on the developed one.

The characteristics of the software

The software could choose the skin colour of the emojis automatically. It will also create automatic updates when a new photo is uploaded. With their new 3D posts, Facebook is now looking for a way to create 3D avatars.
